I have been using an Aluminium pole for the last 2 1/2 years (when I started window cleaning)that I bought off an auction site for £50, the pole is in 3 sections and only weighs 905g, the brush that came with it weighs 390g with 2 pencil jets.
I only clean a few FSG and a couple of conservatory roofs a year. I also use the pole for 2 houses where I cannot reach the upper windows because of an extension with a squeegee and fliq pad. I am not taking on more houses, just single storey.

So the CLX is too whippy and 1420g, the SLX is more rigid and lighter at 1270g.
The brush I am looking at weighs 245g and I will get 2 100 degree fan jets.

Buy an Xtreme brush for f/S/g cleans as they are light.
 Put fan jets in it for a decent spread of water.
Virosol is good to spray on the brush neat or have it partly diluted in a handy bucket so you can keep dipping your brush in, then back up to the gutters. By the time you’ve gone round applying the Virosol to one side and gable of the house , you can go back and start cleaning it off.  It’s quick and effective.
As above, sack off the CLX idea, it will fatigue you really quickly. Get an SLX. Well worth paying a little extra for one. Your shoulders will thank you at the end of the day 

I wouldn't be using a Extreme either, cleaning FSG gives the pole some stick, extreme sections are too.weak.

I didn’t mention an Xtreme pole, just the brush!!

 Although that’s what I use and haven’t had any problems. SLX is good though.

For me:

FSG cleans. Xtreme 22 with an old Extreme flocked brush and fan jets (they don't make these brushes any more). But very light.

Conservatory cleans. Xtreme 22 with a gardiners medium sill brush. You need a heavier brush for conny roofs to help apply pressure.

A bit of Screwfix no nonsense degreaser helps in both cases, unless you have hot water, which I don't.

Pretty good that degreaser from screw fix I’ve used it on roofs etc suds up nice.
