What are these fittings called?
« on: June 24, 2020, 04:03:51 pm »

The guy who made my fake tubeless kits has gone AWOL from eBay.

I need to replace some of these on my poles, I know the black and blue 6mm part with the red clips is quite standard but I have no idea what it is called.

The blue part looks a bit more custom but someone may know how I could source them?

Thanks

The window cleaner who sells them is on the Window cleaning forum under the name Skxawng.

He stated this on May 19th
I had to take a break from making them as with the covid situation, I've been a little distracted and it was getting increasingly difficult to get hold of materials cheaply or at all. 4 of the last 6 orders on eBay either haven't turned up or were cancelled. I've been selling the remaining stock privately but just posted the last of them a few days ago to a forum member.

I have though, finally got the materials to make more so I'm making a large batch today and hopefully should be on eBay tomorrow 🙂

I know its not helpful but its a start. Ive sent him a message.

Here's the reply I got a few minutes ago.

I ran into an issue on eBay. I received a message saying that a private seller account is only for selling my own personal items and couldn't be used for commercial products. I took the listing down with the intention of looking into a trade account but with everything that's gone on just never looked into it.

I'm just selling them privately if people message me on here currently.

Eventually I'd like to get a shop up and running on eBay. I've quite a few things I was working on, but I'm one worker short on my window round since the lockdown in march so I'm working a lot to get through the mountain of work facing me.

The only thing I can suggest is you register with the other forum and PM him.

It’s a hose stay for using with a univalve.

The supplier calls it a hose stopper. :)

I fit a John Guest at the top of my gooseneck  and connect the pole hose with them clips, very useful. Nothing worse than having a 50ft pole fully extended and standing on the pole hose by accident and watching the pole hose come tumbling down the pole, them clips fitted to the bottom end of the John Guest connection stops it coming detached.
