That's a shame, the brushes were pretty good. The hogs hair was ace on UPVC and self cleaning glass! Didn't he make them in his garage?

At least he gave it a go.
Also note that he came out with the swivel on a brush  well before anyone else did.

And what an eye sore that is.

He knew everything and if you had a different opinion you were wrong. He had not idea how to deal with people at all. I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did.

I wonder if he still cleans windows with his homemade 1 pass brushes and no rinse needed.

There was a strong suspicion that Richard was the infamous Ewan!!🤐

I remember that. He thought he could slag Alex's product off posting as Ewan. Then Ewan was the go between Richard and the forum. If anyone had a comment Ewan would ask Richard and then Ewan would post Richard's reply.  ;D Alex posted on the forum one morning that they knew who Ewan was because of his computer -IP address maybe.

Then he got caught. Later he threw all his toys out of his cot and deleted all his posts. However those posts he made that were quoted by other posters remained behind.

He just closed his business down. No statement appeared on his website. It just shows the contempt he had for his customers, even some who backed him through all the self inflicted drama.

I often did wonder how good a window cleaner he actually was with his 1 pass no rinse technique, how he treated his customers and what they thought of him.

If I recall correctly, when Ewan/Richard  got exposed he came back as Alex.
The dot after Alex (.) was a significant factor in catching him out as I remember.😆
