What do you think of the new one I don’t think they look anywhere near as robust, does it reel in at similar speed to the HD

do yourself a favour and get a pure freedom reelmaster nigel......you can obviously see the build quality in my pic at the start of this thread....very fast to wind in on 99 too....had mine 2 years now and it has never missed a beat......

Apart from when the chain kept coming off and you drive a 350. mile round trip to get it fixed 😂😂😂😂

Yeah saying that I can maintain everything on the HD myself I wouldn’t want to have to take that other 1 out and either send it back or have a long drive.

yes i did have teething issues with it the first week after delivery....but i gave them the benefit of the doubt,it could of been damaged in transit...its been great for 2 years now and will be for many more i expect.....

the newer HD reels seem well overpriced at £400+ esp considering their made of plastic and have weak motors, they are also slow to wind in....they just arent built for the rigours we put them through...the older HD reels are not a patch on the reelmaster ....no contest IMO.......i know 2 windys with them...mines better by a country mile....

theres only one heat exchanger in the cabinet though........you ve just got 2 mixer valves instead of one

No there’s not there are two heat exchangers ,you cannot have two mixer valves on one exchanger , it’s difficult to get a picture of both of them but this is the best I can do 😂😂😂😂

ah.... right.......on other 2 man grippatank systems you can clearly see the 2 exchangers either side of the cabinet.....

One problem they have with the heaters when they supply them is they can be prone to leaking from the bottom inlet to the header tank,I can see from yours and splash you have the same problem as I did.

If you Plumbers tape the male on the heater it stops this my old heater did this, you need to change it every couple of months though coz as you know it gets very hot but it works. 👍

if you mean from the cap that screws onto the top of the header tank then yes mines leaks a bit but its not a major problem.its always done it from day one!

Yes that’s where mine leaks from it’s a pain but has done it from new , just wipe it up now and again , if I have a spare bit of time will phone Oliver and see if there is anything that can be done about it , mine keakes out if the top of the header tank can not the threaded part

It’s not the threads that leak it comes out of the breather hole on the top of the cap
