I nipped to toolstation this afternoon and picked up  the correct size bullet connectors(2.5mm) so I'm sorted for a few years now.... ;D

I've got a few spare inline fuse holders too.......the protective covers seem to snap together better on these new ones....

I think my fuse problem stemed from me getting a bit of water inside the holder because I'd left the protective cap loose.....

Anyway you live and learn......and I've certainly learned something today.......I'm well happy with myself for fixing the problem(I'm not very technically minded)..... :)

Are you gonna swap out your fuse holder too richy?at least yours isn't melted but it looks a bit dirty...... ;D

All in all a productive day despite the awful weather! 8)

all ive done is swap out the 20amp inline fuse holder thats wired in for the heater for a new one and put a new fuse in it......luckily  oliver has made it easy to swap these out with bullet connectors on either side of the holders so an easy fix(as long as you have the  correct fuse holders and connectors!)....sounds like you ve got spade connectors on yours nigel.....

have you had a look at your 20amp fuse holder/fuse for signs of damage, dirty connection, etc?

We need another thread for spade and bullet connectors.
We've only got the other two threads going at the moment.
