Good Auto Enrol Pension Scheme?
« on: June 16, 2020, 07:47:31 pm »
Can anyone recommend a good pension scheme? I have spoken to a few and all have a 5+ minimum number of employees requirement.
I have one chap who works with me, qualifies for auto enrolment and would like a pension.

I will be doing payroll through quickbooks

Any advice appreciated. thanks

I used NEST before, easy enough to setup yourself.

I used the Nest one also for my employee. I did find it complicated at times though but it integrates with my Brightpay payroll software to a degree. He opted out 3 years ago but has enrolled this time round.

I couldn’t really care less if it performs well or not. Was just fulfilling my legal responsibility. Complete joke imo that I even have to offer it, let alone pay into it.

They are all gash. It's a con, does my nut in.

I use nest, it's pish. So bad, I recently received a threatening letter from them saying I'd be investigated by the regulator if I didn't stump up £0.00 immediately.

It felt like a literal auditor trap.

They threatened me every month a about late payment. But it's always Nest making the mistakes. Really fed up with them Thankfully Employee is living soon so they will close the account .

They are brilliant pensions people feel privileged when they receive 20 grand of their money that they’ve paid in after 25-30 years, they then sit down and realise that if they live till 120 they’ll get some of their money back given out to them in a pittance every month.
The best pension is bricks and mortar and under the thing you lay your head every night,it’s called a pillow.
