good and bad like most companies - I rarely use them as they don't keep a lot stock so you can be waiting a while for the bits

My experience wasn’t good, but many on here have had great experience with them.

Never a problem with them.

Oliver is always very accessible. The gear is top notch in my opinion.

To be fair I just spoke to Oliver who agreed to sort my problem. Happy with that.

Good products but wasn’t worth the hassle of all the emails and correspondence let alone the 6 months wait.

They are really nice people but they act bigger and better then they really are.

They don't keep much stock and a normal wait is 2 weeks.

They don't know much about what they are selling.

They are constantly sending me the wrong items (1 out of 4 is incorrect).

A couple of times they sent me the wrong items and refused to take them back or give me a refund.

My goal was to use GrippaTank as little as possible. So I just ordered poles and gutter heads. Now, Alex Gardiner has told me they are going to start selling the gutter poles and heads themselves.  I'm so happy, such a relief.

Saying that they don’t have the knowledge is simply not true, when it comes to fitting systems etc I’ve had first hand experience of watching them work and they know there stuff inside out.
Maybe the problem is with who you are ordering from on the phone, the actual fitters and Oliver you can’t fault with knowledge.

personally they were great with me....their customer service was spot on....even giving me a courtesy vehicle so i could carry on working while they fixed the fuel problem on my heater...it was a 340 mile round trip for them though....but really it should of been checked before i drove back home from their workshop on the day of fitting....

oliver has now made changes...if your having a diesel heater fitted they require your van for 2 days now not one day to do the relevant checks and make sure everything is fine....

ill get my diesel heater serviced at grippatank when it gets to around  5 years old.....its a nice drive down there and a lovely part of the country...both me and the missus loved cambridge so ill drag her along with me next time too.... :)

i agree to a certain extent.....they are great at fitting systems though.....im not sure their online ordering and website is up to scratch but there are plenty of other companies to use for ordering other things......

If I was having a system fitted it would be by them as I say they know every nut and bolt when it comes to building them,he replies to his emails every time I’ve sent one Oliver that is.

They know every nut and bolt? It might help if they actually tightened said nuts and bolts up before sending out a £300 reel. I’ve dealt with them twice and both times my order has been incomplete or defective.  I need a magnifying glass to read the website. I won’t be using them again in a hurry. Nice enough people, but god knows what they employ to deal with the orders?
We look at them, they look through them.

Glad it wasn’t just me then.  ;D

Worst customer service I’ve ever had. No stock, sent wrong stuff and take an age to refund.

Sounds like the grippatank installations are their main business whilst the shop seems a bit of a sideline?
Shame Gardiners ditched the resin/ro supply from their business, always great to deal with.

I can't fault Pure Freedom. I've got 5 vans fitted with their systems and never had any issue at all with service or product.  It's not rocket science!  ;)

Gardiner's spot on too.
