For those that have tubeless set up do you have a bought tubeless kit or do you just use EZ snap connectors at the base of the pole? I'm thinking of just trying the connections at the base of the pole anyone doing this.

I just have the rectus male  connected to 8 inches  of pole hose  hanging out the base

Same as Smudger. If you have issues with the hose pulling out of the JG when operating the Univalve, fit a JG hosetail to your hose.
I love these connectors. No fuss and cheap as chips.

absolutely - I never had much trouble with rectus although when you have to replace 3 or 4  over a couple of weeks it starts to get expensive now if they go ( and I have yet to have one fail ) costs 80p and even better no pole hose trailing all over the unit where the poles are stored

But if you need it to you can just fold the pole hose and slip a piece of larger hose over it to hold it

Its quite simple to replicate the exceed tubeless kit, I prefer this way than having a short length of pole hose trailing out the bottom of the pole. You just need to make a "bung" of some sort that you wedge in the bottom of the first section of pole, even a cork will do. Drill a hole through it and feed the hose through , cut to length, stretch it reasonably tight and and secure a rectus male fitting with an o clip. If using a univalve you can make a hose retainer for where it comes out the gooseneck cut from a section of plastic drainpipe or similar with a hole cut in it.

Someone posted instructions on similar a couple of years or so back, using I think, a jg plactic pipe insert as the "bung" or end stop in the first section of pole.

I use the ones from window cleaning warehouse that have a brass hose tail screwed in to them. If one fails whilst working I can  replace and screw another one on without having to cut hose and replace the o clip.
