3 times a lady
« on: May 30, 2020, 11:20:55 am »
Out working yesterday I stood in dogs mess at a customers house.

Got home and stood in dog mess again outside my house, hidden in the grass next to the pavement.

Out in the garden having morning coffee today and stood in fox mess, this time barefoot.

Anyone done 3 times or more in 2 days or have I got the record?

Darker and smaller than most domestic animals.

We regularly clean blocks of flats at Portishead Marina and have to put out six well spaced caution cones  as we are often working 100 metres away from the vans. I became sick and fed up of dog walkers allowing their dog on lead to cock a leg and pee on the caution sign and was at my wits end on how to stop this we'd been soft washing the day before and still had a 10% hypo mix  in a back pack in the van so I quickly squirted the ground around each caution sign with hypo before we started the windows and never had a single dog show any interest in peeing on my signs this time. Just a little tip for anyone else experiencing the same problem. (No dogs were killed or even maimed during this procedure)

This really annoys me. The owners just stand there while the dog pees all over your equipment? I tend to swear a lot at them.

It was worse when i was tradding. You sometimes only found out you,d trod in it when you were coming down your ladder and the aroma hit your nose as you passed each run by which time it was too late , it was on every run, on your hands, probably on your trousers and you had no choice but go home and clean up.  I dont miss using ladders.

That brought back some memories lol, from  many moons ago.  When that smell hits you, life just drains from my face as you know what mess you have to tidy when you get down off the ladders.

Another horrid experience though was on wfp. Winding the hose in manually and just guiding the hose in with bare hands.  The next thing I know is that my hands are covered in cat mess.  Thankfully with a tank full of water in the van it was easy to clean off and sterilise clean.  Ever since I would always use a cloth on the hose when reeling in but I would also be weary where my hose would lay or travel in peoples gardens

i have a large tub of industrial anti bacterial wipes in the van for when i get dog/cat muck on the hose.....luckily for me its a rare occurrence these days as im careful where i lay my hose, ive also dumped any chronic dog mess jobs but you ve always got to be on your guard if a customer has a dog or on roads/pavements.....

i have a dog and i wouldnt dream of leaving dog mess on a pavement.....some people need a good hard slap..... >:(

cat muck is harder to spot as its usually buried in a customers plant borders so i try and avoid dragging my hose through them if possible! ;D

Some dog owners are just so disrespectful, I see them sometimes walking down the street just letting their dogs p and poop on peoples gardens instead of making them do it on the grass verge next to the road. Really pes me off does that

The house my X kept, had a large front and side garden (a corner house) with a small fence along the boundary and a gate.  An old chap used to walk his dog, open our gate n let his dog poop in the garden.   It really peeed me off as my kids were very young and played in the garden.

I so wanted to bag he poop, take it to his door and set the bag on fire and knock on his door. Only to watch as he would stomp the fire out!!
Never did mind you.  I had words with him and it stopped.

Dog owners like this I cant stomach and if im out and about and see someone in front of me let their dog poop and walk off. I will pass a comment to them

I remember one particular time this happened to me.  It was winter time and the dog poo was hidden under some fallen leaves. Coming down the ladder, the poo was all over the rungs, my clothes, hands. I was nearly physically sick with the stench of it. Had no choice but to go home to get cleaned up.
