Advice needed re SLX 39 setup
« on: May 22, 2020, 10:46:37 pm »
Decided to buy an SLX 39 for the occasional high stuff.

I've always opted for a normal quick low angle adapter.

Should I go for a lighter gooseneck?

If so which one?

Also not sure which brush to go for as I only use sill brushes on regular poles.

Which brush would you recommend?

Thanks chaps

Definitely get a couple of goosenecks. I have four including the v long extendable one. Goosenecks help with the higher windows. Re the brush, I would use a medium weight brush with four jets.

I needed a longer reach gooseneck for my SLX40 for several jobs I do.
Someone on here suggested adding a second angle adapter. I did that and have used it that way for years.

I still have an alloy Gooseneck I bought from gardeners a few years before that, but these 2 angle adapters work much better. By straightening the first one out on the pole side the other can be adjusted to suit my brush angle requirement.

you want to order a carbon gooseneck and xtreme brush for high level work...its the lightest you can go........ive got 4....a 90 degree one for solar panels, one 45 degree and 2 x 55 degree...

i use a carbon gooseneck on my everyday main pole usually with an xtreme sill/ultimate or standard extreme brush, their ace!
price higher/work harder!
