I use an ionic 35ft Glyder plus

It’s more than adequate for almost all residential, including most skylights, while being stiff and light too. I find they last about 18 months - 2 years as long as you spray the sections with lacquer every 3-4 months or so.

I have an additional section that I keep in the van to add an extra 5ft on the 2 jobs that I need it.

Do you think I'd notice the difference in weight if I moved down from an SLX 27 to SLX 22?

Extreme 47 with all but three sections taken off, making it around 22ft.

Then adding the sections as and when needed.

Slx 22    85-90%
For the rest it’s a combination of an old slx 40
Or SL for commercials where is just window after window

After using the SL everything else feels heavy, regardless of the height!

I use an slx 25 for 100% of work however I have been thinking of getting an slx 22 because I don’t think I actually extend the 25 to maximum very often.

Extreme 20 for everyday work. Covers 95% of my daily work.
Extreme 47 for anything that is longer and a few 3/4 storey jobs that I need.
It's a game of three halves!

we use a CLX 22 and an SLX 25 for higher ones.

the CLX is our bread and butter pole. we love it and really good value. as it gets used most it takes the brunt go our wear and tear so saves us having to replace the SLX as often

we have a very big pole on the van but thats only really needed for special jobs or commercials

I use an 18 phantom 80%  and 25 slx the rest apart from a few jobs a month I need the slx 39

Think ill just order an extreme 22 next as that will be a better all rounder than swapping about between the 18 and 25.

XTREME 25   95%
XTREME 47     5%

an 18/22 footer is too short for lots of work so a 25 footer is just right for the majority of windows on my round.....
price higher/work harder!

I've never had a CLX 22 but I found the CLX 27 had a very short life compared to an SLX. Might be a false economy?
