Lol dear me people quoting 200 a day I don’t know a window cleaner that Max’s out on that a day,if they do it’s because it either a lifestyle choice or they are running it till the kids get kicked out of school.
I know there’s a limit to what you can earn within reason but come on set your horizons a little bit higher than the above, maybe depression is rife in window cleaning maybe that’s the reason.
That wasn’t good money window cleaning 25 years ago.
What’s your yearly profit?
This is the funny thing, everyone bangs on about £200-250 a day. If that was the case, almost no one would be claiming the grant, as it’s only allegeable for those earning under £50,000 a year.
The reality is most window cleaners are far under that.
Even after expenses, at £250 a day, you’d be still be pushing just over £50,000 a year profit. (Assuming expenses are £5-10,000 for a one man band.
I turn over £43,000 odd a year. With only around £4000 in expenses as an average.
I do about 4-5 hours a day, and admit I could work harder, but have a very good round with well paying work. (Thanks to some very good commercial work)
Id be very suprised if there are many sole traders on here pushing out £60,000 a year.
I bet it’s more like £25-30,000 average. The funny thing to me, is, you’d never know that by all the willy waving 😁
It would be so interesting to see the amount of sole trader window cleaners pushing over £50k. I’d love to see that pie chart. I think we’d see a minute slither of £50k earners, the rest under.
