looks like you'd need to climb to clean the back of it?

if thats the case i would get a sandman we know to climb and clean it

if there was no climbing, but that size i'd be looking for about £135 or more (no less)

depends if they are a customer of ours, and if it was nearby.

if they weren't i'd charge higher

I'm OUT,  the access to the Con Roof nearest to the house is very bad, but if i was doing it with the right equipment,
( Conservatory roof ladders)  i would want  300 pound minimum to clean roof glass plus the Con windows outside only.

If you can get a ladder up either side it’ll be pretty straightforward.

That’s not a 300 quid conservatory Lal there’s a valley on the other side you easily get to all of it some from 1 side some from the other, the plastic that separates the panels of glass have to cleaned from both sides which make it a bit more awkward but it ain’t a 300 clean.

I’d clean that to a spotless Finnish in about an hour, obviously I wouldn’t and don’t charge per hour but that’s an hours work.
If you clean it and you are thinking of charging a lot don’t do it when they are in it you’ll be drinking tea- coffee for ages trying to make it look like it was hard work, piece of pee to clean roofs like that especially with hot water.

Its Glass  :-\

If it was plastic, id say a couple of hours but probably price it for 3 for good measure

Ive been caught out with glass a few times, lichen that is almost impossible to do wfp

Best bet for that is conny ladders

I wouldnt bother these days, too busy and if i`d probably underprice it.

On a roof like that if it has lichen on it it makes no difference, you can only comment and say it would be very difficult to clean if you have a hot water system.
That roof with dog poo human poo elephant 🐘 poo and covered in lichen would come off with ease if you used hot water,I’ve done many many like that like I say walk in the park stuff try doing a 30-40ft Antrim glass roof with plastic glass panel dividers that are proper geeen, that’s what you call tricky and difficult to get proper clean.

Come on we all Nigel often boast about doing conservatories free - he likes to do this because apparently he charges soooo much (lol lol) for the window clean...

So he would price it up as £180 for the windows with a free conny clean thrown in

Ive not used hot but ive come a cross a few glass roofs that were extremely difficult to clean wfp due to mainly the angle and not being able to get pressure on. On top of this they take forever to rinse, bits keep coming out of the sides for hours. I wont touch them anymore i only do plastic ones.

Lal not 300 quid pal I’ll be honest with you I do clean them but I’d rather bang out houses at the rate I do and at the price I do,charging 300 for jobs like that on an existing property you already do will set alarm bells ringing with them.
Like I say it’s an hours work that for an experienced hot water fed poler,it’s all about perception it’s a psychological game with customers,I could charge a 150 notes for a house that takes not a lot of time but let’s look at it like this yeah, stand back and look at the house it’s a big house it warrants a good price.
I could charge 150 for the house yeah then say I want 300 to do that roof,I could be away and onto the next job in 2.5 hours how does that look.
I do a lot of wealthy customers but regardless of that it would take the pee,I would much rather clean there house for a very good price and do something like that for not a lot of extra money,I’d prefer to clean it off every year or so for not a lot and keep them happy paying me 150 a clean for an hour cleaning there windows.
I find using your head every now and again keeps you work, people ain’t stupid you start taking the pee they’ll pack you off quicker than you can say stay at home protect the NHS save lives 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Gomo if you’ve not used hot you won’t know yourself if you’ve got jobs like this, heat a knife up later and stick it in the butter it’ll give you an idea  hot water was made for jobs like this.
Listen to the debate this roof will take 3 hours ish it’s not close to 3 hours ,clean with hot water it’s an hours work clean it with cold and endless detergent you can double that time.

Like I say an hours work for anyone who knows what they are doing,a coffee and a few extra quid let em think they are getting something for nothing every now and again.
Are they getting something for nothing not really because the way I look at it when I turn up and fly round the odd day throughout the year they’ll turn a blind eye,you sting em for 300 notes for that little bit of glass they’ll be watching you like YouPorn.
