Flouting the rules
« on: May 06, 2020, 12:07:43 pm »
Ok, so today there seems so many cars out on the roads.

No way are they all keeping to the rules out there.  People pulling up to houses, knocking doors and entering.  Watching many people walking streets in groups, again another increase in my eyes.  No way are some of these people out and about in same family.  I was sat at lights, and saw a young couple snogging on a bench in full view of the road with people walking past very closely.

And I thought it was us that was worried about breaches and what people thought.  ;D

The rules where always going to get flouted more the longer we where in lockdown, its one of the reasons why the government didn't lockdown earlier.

Unsurprising really, a lack of clarity from Boris and his goons on what's coming and when.

People are fed up.

It’s been a bit of a shambles lockdown really hasn’t it, unlike Spain or Italy.

Can’t leave the house, unless you need to.

Things are definitely slipping as far as the enforcement of the lockdown is concerned. There is even car washes opening up now! Surely this just encourages drivers to be out in their cars for no good reason, how can you justify going to the car wash as being essential travel?
Time for a clampdown me thinks.

Same as cleaning windows I would have thought - essential maintenance

Yes people are starting to flout, I've flouted  quite a few times I have to admit.

If they are giving a half arsed lockdown that's not really being policed then people are going to take advantage.

If course the gov know this is going on but as long as most are being sensible and the NHS isn't being overwhelmed they will turn a blind eye.

Going to work if you can’t work from home so a completely legitimate reason for being on the roads.

There’s some weird things going on here. The NHS isn’t being overwhelmed but thousands are dying in care homes and at home. Talk today that the bar is set extremes high to keep people out of hospital.

Not really, the government knew that the only way they could keep us at home was to scare us, with the exception of a few Coronaphobes its only the vulnerable and their families who are scared now.

nobody cares anymore.........weathers been great too.......boris will ease the lockdown on sunday i reckon....

my prediction....barbers and hairdressers will be open for business once again and certain non essential shops,etc.....

ive never seen so many people out and about,cycling,walking,running...people of all ages as lots of people are off work/school....

all the local druggies and alcoholics are all out around here..no social distancing whatsoever...one even tried to shake my hand when i got in from work this afternoon! ::)roll.....i politely swerved him! ;D
price higher/work harder!
