1st day back
« on: May 04, 2020, 01:56:59 pm »
Well after 5 weeks of being indoors I started back to work today.
Worked 5 hours and picked up a new customer including cleaning their conservatory roof, one of my regulars wanted a quote for jet washing a wall so will be doing that job on my next visit.

All customers were pleased to see me (non cancelled) and waving at me through their windows with the kids along side them.

All in all a really nice day with no hassle from anyone am I'm glad I decided to go back I'm now  even if I'm 5 weeks late.

I’ve had 3-4 more texts today asking when I’ll be round next and they hope I’m carrying on,I can’t imagine what some people will go back to after being off for nearly 2 months.
1 customer told me today a woman she knows has got rid of her window cleaner because he’s refusing to work at the moment.

I picked up another new customer today whilst out, she said her wc had not turned up for a while so I asked perhaps it's because of the covic19 and she replied that he had not been back since October so I gladly took her on the books

Told you so they still want them cleaning,if a nuclear ☢️ bomb dropped they’d still think where’s the window cleaner.

I'm going back on Monday, when I stopped I let everyone know via my fb business page, text and email. I have done the same to tell everyone I am coming back. Everyone who responded has said "will be great to have you back".
Cheers Rich

1000s lost forever if I hadn’t kept working,I heard them say on the news this morning we didn’t say McDonald’s and the like had to close the drive through side of the businesss.
I can see it now oh no you window cleaners could have worked.

Today was my first day back too, everyone was pleased to see me, only a couple of customers stayed in and spoke to me through the window.
Cheers Rich
