If are self employed and pay Tax you are entitled to the grant earnings under 50k,however that will effect you’re Tax because you receive a pension I would think will be worked out on you’re next Tax return me thinks.
I know 1 thing it’ll catch out a lot of people that have not put much through the books lol, some self employed people will get pittance.

Makes no difference you are  talking rubbish  if you’ve carried on working you’ll still get this grant if you come in under 50k a year, don’t forget it’s taxable so if you are earning the same as before you will pay more Tax next year.
At what point did you hear them say if you carry on working you won’t get it 🤣🤣🤣, how many times have you heard stay at home this last 2 months.
No, he's not.
You need to have lost income but obviously this is up to you to decide. If you haven't but are prepared to say you are to get the grant then who am I to cast nasturtiums?

I doubt very much that that will be the case.
Why?
Who else can determine whether folk have lost income or not?

I just can’t see it being a tick box to say ‘yes I have lost income’. Nothing more than a hunch tbh so can’t be arsed arguing over the finer details of what’s actually been confirmed so far.

I hope you self employed lads get it, particularly the lads that have had to sit it out for various reasons, I just can’t help but think this is going to be a discussion that gets returned to over and over in the coming weeks.

Maybe not just a tick box but it's hard to prove something that's not happened. I can't see it being too complicated though.
I've not stayed off on the strength of the grant; I didn't have much choice. I won't be happy if I don't get it but I'll have to accept it.
I don't think it's a gamble the government would take though.
