He's 'living' with her. Do keep up.
I'm not sure bunting, cake stands and flags are essential shopping purchases though.

The fact that he was living with her didn't stop you last time.

No, tins of Spam and evaporated milk are more essential.
I don't like B&Q but I like the dig for victory sentiment, Daz.

You might be having cake but I don’t think it’ll be in the garden,Thursday it’s supposed to rain.

Where do you get such accurate weather forecasts for 14 days ahead?

Didn't know there was a VE day bank holiday.

Thought it was maypole day or something. Don't know what that's for either. I could cheat and Google it but thought I would be honest.

I also havnt googled but I thought they were moving May Day bank holiday from the 1st Monday in May to the second Monday in May, to coincide with VE Day  75th anniversary for this year only.

My street are having a massive street party, BBQ’s, bouncy castles, tug of war, loads of beer and finishing with a DJ set up and dance floor. Really looking forward to it.
