Cheers Guys
« on: April 21, 2020, 04:24:41 pm »
Ok so ive been battling against the inevitable for quite a while now, more so in the last 8 months or so.  Yes choosing some big paying jobs of jetwashing/softwashing over the regular bread n butter jobs but thats what you have to do in my circumstances.  (Putting health to one side, it wouldnt hasnt been a problem).
Yet ive come to the realisation over the last couple if weeks that I can not  juggle both my wifes illness and run a business.  Ive probably worked five full days over these couple of weeks and rescheduled quite a number of jobs repeatedly in the same period.  My customers are great, at the momemt but its starting to cost me work and loose potential new work.
So alas, im hanging up the gloves.  Initially I was going to keep a little for myself but sadly its a day by day illness, so even one day a week can quickly fall behind schedule.
So ive put my rounds for sale on yorkshire window cleaners and window cleanjng UK pages on facebook.

Thank you for advice, chat, fun, arguements and everything in between on this forum.
Hope everyone continues to stay safe, all the best guys

Look at the Franchise route Nathan. You might get lucky and find a couple of guys. That way you get cash now and each month going forward plus they remain your customers.

Won’t you lose your self employed  grant from the government if you decide to cease trading?

I'm really sorry to hear that Nathan.

Can you take someone on to carry out the physical work and you take on more of a management position?

Or rent the work out? Or Franchise?

What will you do for work instead?

Good luck with whatever path you choose Nathan.

As the only poster on here that changes his mind more times than Daz, I’ve a feeling you’ll be back here in the not so distant future.  ;D

Keep the work and get rid of the wife.
Write her a brief letter explaining what you're doing and why.

Only joking, Nate .
I wish you well whatever you decide to do.

Very sad to hear Nathan, you will be missed.

I hope if you do follow through with the decision that you get a good buyer for the work and good price.

Take it easy, I’m sure (kind of) you’ll be back 😜

Good luck with whichever path you’re taking mate, sure ones didn’t find it an easy decision to make.

Why don't you have a quick google before making stupid comments?
