No, you can do that. Nothing wrong in moving in with someone for the duration.

Surely there is going back and forth tho.

Up and down I expect.

If you move in with someone thats where you live isnt it?
No, he's 'staying with' her.
But I'm sure he did this before the lockdown .
These are not my guidelines or opinions and I'm only reminding people of them.

Semantics Griff.
Not at all.
I know that he's not followed the guidelines and I'm going easy on him.........easy like Sunday morning.
If he moved in with her before the lockdown, ok; but he's not supposed to be visiting his old place.
These are not my guidelines, btw.

I’m not an expert, but from what I can tell, the government’s economic response has been astonishingly good. It’s like the Labour Party were in government.

Agreed. IF anybody was doing that then they would confirm themselves as thick and selfish.

No it isn’t. But for clarity I was referring to the financial package put in place. Furloughing, grants, business rates freeze, loans (if they get it working properly), self employed help and so on. Directors of small companies were ignored though. But overall I thought the package was breathtaking.

Unfortunately they’ve made an absolute mess of everything else.

True, but  I expect you deferred your VAT?  It’s frustratingly slow for everything else but we’re not in need of anything. We’re getting the £10k grant but we don’t need it. I’d hand it back if it were possible, but I figure along with everyone else I’ll be paying for this years to come.

You are. 8weekly has a unit so can apply for a £10k grant off the government. It's linked to rates / rate relief.

If he didn't want it, he doesn't need to apply for it btw.

Of course it is.
Who do you think pays for the NHS? Yes, an almost 100 years old war veteran by walking round his garden.
Oh sorry, wrong thread. Health care is a huge part of the economy.

I’m considering going back in May. I don’t think I’d really earn any more than staying on universal credit but it would be more for my mental heath to get out the flat, also I worry that my customers might not like the fact that I’m sitting it out for 2 months, even though my rounds not good I don’t want to lose any of my good customers.
A question I have is any of you that have texted/contacted customers to let them know you ain’t coming out how did you then let them know you will now be coming to do the windows? As I imagine that might be a bit awkward after you’ve told them you wasn’t coming out due to the virus.
For me I’m 50/50 on what to do come May, I think it’s mainly worrying about my customers being disappointed to be honest, I think a lot of people know window cleaners can work so might be a bit funny if I said I’m not coming, which is pushing me to go back.
Hate dilemma’s 😂
