New section needed extreem 22
« on: April 15, 2020, 03:39:01 pm »
Cant upload pic,    Out this morning   1 hour later and top section Snaps.     12 months 13 days old.     Could not believe it.     Wiping the Top Sill after clean.     Gutted to say the least.      Pricing sections     X3 Extreem  = £85 + vat   SLX section = £48 +vat       The  top section shouldn't make much weight difference surely.      Pole out of warrants so  ££££   a bit tight atm.        Anyone been in similar situ
Cannot upload pics,  posted elsewhere

I snapped my top section on my first xtreme 11 months in, gardiner replaced that as a good Will gesture then a month or two later another section went so I just banged an slx section in for a few months before ordering a new xtreme

Why not join the extremelx club.

My extreme top section snapped after about a year and I've read the same story numerous times.

I replaced mine with an slx section.

That's the thing with extreme poles....you will get the odd snapped section from time to time....just make sure you have a spare pole in the van when out working.....

I'm much more careful now in regards to closing open windows with it.....if its stiff then i just leave it and clean it open.....

Broke my heart but ive  ordered Extreem   section,  as it will keep the right weight distribution in Pole.    Im going to get a 18 SLX just in case this happens again.      A years wear I don't mind.

I ve       changed my goosenecks last year  from the standard size     to the next one up.   to reach those awkward sills.       Ive realised they put more pressure on the top section forcing more weight  on the very top of the 1st  pole section under the longer gooseneck.     im going back to the smaller gooseneck.  don't want anymore snapped poles

i use  carbon goosenecks on my  xtreme poles for most work...so light and rigid.....i vary the brushes(standard xtreme, xtreme sill or an ultimate brush).....best combo IMO....
