As I say put a new blade in it and thought I’d give it another go,I have never used such a S***T thing in all my life,after trying and trying to get on with it I gave up and went back to my 14” Unger S with the blade cut right in tight to the ends with near perfect results in half the time with ease.
I would much rather have a squeegee that needs slight detailing any day rather than one of those things,Luke the window cleaner thinks the same I think he only ever uses it now on a pole for less detailing on the top part of shop fronts his Mrs then goes along the bottom sections with a traditional squeegee.
What I noticed before with them when they first came out was they appear to do an ok job until the sun finds you out,I cleaned a couple of windows indoors with it and at first they seemed fine when the sun came out they looked like a child had been drawing over the glass with a crayon.

Terrible things the wider they are the worse they are to use,I cut the rubber perfectly jumped about like it was plugged into the mains.
Before Polz and Bladz says yes I did use a whole bottle of fairy liquid for 1 window too,the Unger S was a pleasure to use after using this thing.

Worth a try though! At least you know what tools you currently benefit from.
Personally find it great tool as a part of my arsenal. Only use a 14” or 12” and only occasionally use each month.

I’ve given it many goes now the old version and the new,they only work at all if they are being used on shops on a pole,when you use it in short twists side to side on a pole it’s usable to a degree when using it on normal domestic type windows it’s not worth the ball ache you end up needing to be to careful with it to cut down on the detailing.
A well cut normal channel does the same job.

Sorry that’s what I meant.

You have given it a go, though not your liking, so you know wether you want it or not in your gear. Mostly I use the swivel but some times lock it for certain jobs or how I want it.
Not a cheap blade though.

I do cut the bottom corner on older blades in same style and find that makes a difference

I only do a few traditional windows every 6-8 weeks now and that’s mainly insides,they make a very good traditional squeegee user look like a beginner.
