10000 people die of Flu each year they were saying blimey never knew that it was that many.
Don't get hung up on numbers NWH, just like with corona many of those flu victims would have died anyway.

You’re going to die anyway.

It’s sad that the forum now seems to allow  personal insults and name calling in every virus related thread.

I’ve had a  weekend away from the forum and internet as a whole, it helps to step away for awhile and I think some on here should probably do the same.

Unfortunately deeege there isn't a nice way to tell somebody they're being stupid, childish or hysterical, this is an emotive topic and if that's the height of the rudeness then I don't think you have anything to complain about.
More self righteousness.

I reckon all those doctors and nurses who lost their lives must have had underlying health problems or were over seventy years old.
Wouldn’t think they’d need visors, masks, gloves etc when the risks are so low.
An idiot would reckon that, a sensible type would listen to what the experts are saying which is being exposed to large doses for the virus can increase the risk of getting a more serious infection, even then its only slightly,  so unless you plan to be in a ward full of seriously ill with the virus patents there's no need for the hysterics.
Have you any numbers for 'large doses' and 'a more serious infection'?
What would be a 'large dose' of the virus?
Or is it just large doses of bullshIt that you specialise in?

There's a doctor on the Vine show most mornings who tries to calm the hysterical and stupid of which you are both, when asked the question about young healthy NHS workers dying she explained that the sicker you tend to be the more of the virus is in your system, basically its because your immune system isn't killing it, therefore to be exposed to such a person means you can be exposed to larger doses of the virus, this is one theory on why some healthy NHS workers are dying from the virus, as I keep saying we need to listen to the experts and not Guys like Griff who seems to be taking great pleasure in spreading their idiotic  bile.
I'm hysterical but you think I'm spreading idiotic bile?
We've established that you have almost zero chance of dying from the virus, so why don't you leave it to others to discuss the pandemic? You are also unique in that you can work and not touch anything that someone has touched before you or will touch after you.
You're in an enviable position but not everyone else is.
You are safe but others have to work at it.
Add childish to hysterical and stupid.
I'm only repeating information about yourself that you have posted on the forum.
I'm stupid, hysterical and childish because of what you post? Ok.
Look, we know the virus won't affect you- you've told us- but It's not my fault that you feel uncomfortable about others talking about the virus.
And you go on about being self righteous, when you're sat there in your Irony tower with almost zero chance of dying.
More childish babble, you're not repeating what I have said you are repeating what the experts I listen to have said, now if its not true that there is little to no chance of a healthy person dying from this virus then show me where an expert/qualified person  has said this.

The point is we all die, just because some die from an otherwise avoidable cause doesn’t mean we should give up on them and just let it happen, shrug our shoulders and say ‘well, they were going to kick the bucket anyway’

Having other possibly terminal health conditions isn’t a reason to treat those who sick like you are an uncivilised individual.
Its why we are social distancing George, nobody on here is saying that we shouldn't practice social distancing to protect those who are at risk, end of life or other.

It's not up to me to disprove your figures; it's up to you to prove them. I'm not giving out 1% mortality rates or 'almost zero' chance of dying figures.
Have you any expert evidence about you being able to work without touching anything that someone has touched before or will touch after?

Don't you social distance form those not at risk then? How do you know if someone is at risk or not?
What do you do if someone isn't at risk but they are going to come into contact with someone that is at risk?

Now come on degeee when it comes to stupidity at this level how can you not be rude,  its simple you social distance from everybody because that way don't  endanger those who are at risk, those who are at risk and don't know it and those who aren't at risk but may come in contact with those who are.

I wonder if Dry Clean gets a dose of Coronavirus he might also be diagnosed with asthma and diabetes in addition to a heart condition.

Err, are we not all going to die or do you plan to be immortal?
The fact that lots of the deceased had other health issues is clouding the issue. It’s the Covid19 that is the last straw. Lots of these people would have lived for years without Covid19.
Have you got a timescale for the deaths and having the flu?

Sorry, Jay but when I read some of the stuff that I read last night and today I will put up an argument on a subject as serious as this.
If I get called a few names, it doesn't matter to me if it means even a few people see some sense.
It's my calling  ;D.

I said many not all,  1400 or so people die in the UK every day, fact is many of these who would have died from other conditions  will now be classed as Covid19 victims, same with flu.

I don't know what I will be diagnosed with in the future George and If I was to worry about all the possible things that might kill me Id end up as loopy as you are, hope loopy isn't too rude.
