£10.000 though for each hole, not cheap but a way out.

Did you see that guys trolly system, water container fitted to a miniture steam train comlete with pump for watering his garden.

Yeah, i saw that. What a load of rubbish.
Alot of conjecture and maybes.
It was a program for the south east about the south east.
They should have shown it on thames tv only and put something better on around the rest of the country.
I did like the way they slipped yorkshire into the equation though. Even though it was only a couple who "are worried" about it.

A friend got a bore hole last year and i'm sure he paid £3500.

Thats a good price, perhaps the guy on tv, charging £10.000 was just jumping on the band wagon, and playing on peoples worries? ???

I posted wrong info.
It was nearer 3 years ago (i thought it was last winter) and the cost was almost £5k.
He did say that they wanted £1800 more but had quoted him just under 5k and that is what he paid.
He also said that part of the cost was dependant on how far they had to drill down.

the company was panks pumps.
