A new poll to see if there had been any change in the group’s opinion on working in the current climate.

That's what people are doing, Daz, when they're not working from home because they can't and have to travel to work.

They're staying at home.

Saw 3 lots of window cleaners in my area today-
1. Sheepishly opened his backdoor , quickly did a front only then looking at the floor returned to his van.
2. A van with 3 tradders not giving a toss all sat next to each other going from job to job
3. 2 tradders standing about 30cm away from an old man customer

Apart number 1 , it’s down right disgraceful

There’s a difference  isn’t there - can’t work from home so you have to travel to work, I take that as a destination - not travel around all day visiting upto 20 different houses washing windows -
I find it strange that all of a sudden everyone on this board works rural, never sees a soul, never work or park on a public pavement - that’s even more miraculous considering all the kids are home and the weather is good

Back on topic, I'm contemplating doing a bit next week. I think I'm developing agoraphobia.
But I've never even been to the Taj Mahal.

ive cleaned up to 24 houses in a day some days as most work has been on one  large estate this week(4 days work)...... ;D....weather has been great.customers happy to see me......

cleaning outside windows is not like working on the front line looking after very sick coronavirus patients........its totally low risk for both me and my customers.......no tea/coffee/food off customers, keep your distance,BACS and contactless payments,NO inside work, wash hands frequently....thats it.....
price higher/work harder!

Just to add...

When this had died down, or even before, I have noted customers who have mentioned 'their family are nurses' and massively under pressure... I will be offering free cleans for them.
