I thought it was Man U fans chasing you down the street.
I couldn't chase anyone because it would have ruined my Flock of Seagulls hair do. I couldn't sing 'I Ran'.

I opted for a Vic 20 because I thought it just looked better than a ZX Spectrum.

That was my first big mistake in life.

Cor blimey just think back then it would have been literally endless the amount of customers you could have had if you’d have wanted, even in the early 90s if you wanted to gain 1000s of customers it would have been a breeze compared to today.
In a lot of areas and I mean a lot back then there were a handful of window cleaners servicing a massive area.

I had a round in the seventies
Got given it
Hadn't thought that it might be worth something
How times change
I bought a small round in 1999, paid £1800.

There was a severe recession in the 80's, too.
Some areas never recovered from that and the era that followed.

I might get a Commodore 8...……... When I'm 64.
But that was the 60's and not the 80's.

They were ok The Flock of Seagulls but, as you say, they are more remembered for their image.

Do you remember Leeds getting to the FA Cup semis in '87? You beat Wigan in the quarter finals and your reputation went before you back then. Me and my mates sorted loads of Leeds fans out with tickets for the Wigan end much to the annoyance of the police and the national press!
I remember something on the front page of The Mirror .
