Traffic building up again!
« on: April 02, 2020, 05:32:33 pm »
Last week the roads were dead, no rush hour hardly a sole.
I notice every day the amount of cars on the road are gradually building up. I hope people aren’t becoming complacent 😷

Is it not ok to drive to the mud flats of the Bristol Channel of a night and cook marshmallows then?
We look at them, they look through them.

people are getting bored and going out around here aswell i noticed, i cleaned an empty school today an there were people everywhere, complacency kicking in. cant blame people for feeling trapped and hearing the same thing all over the news.

Yes everyone is bored buts only been 2 weeks. If people start ignoring the instructions others will follow, the virus will spread more will die, meaning tighter restrictions for lonnger. Imagine a lived one gets c19 and dies, your partner sibling parent grandparents, . They will be buried or cremated alone, with hardly anyone else allowed to attend. Imagine how you would feel in that case. I am terrified of my mum getting it due to her existing health conditions. She is the last surviving member of her family apart from one elderly cousin a few years younger. She is the last of that generation and I couldn't cope with losing her and not being able to give her the final farewell she would deserve.
Cheers Rich

Seen an increase over the week of more cars on the road.  While being out working all week on the roads, I never once came accross a police check point.

Maybe the latest figures which show an increase of over 700 died innlast 24 hrs might shock people to stay at home.
Doubt it though

my partner has an NHS permit allowing her to travel. it was on the dashboard in our car.
some low life has stolen it.
we live in a very low crime rate area , in a cul de sac, and sometimes we forget to lock our car .

I've left dirty gloves and an old facemask and used tissue paper on my passenger seat, no one going near mine  ;D

Insight into your private life or is this just pandemic specific?

He said that they sometimes 'forget' to lock it.
