I do feel sorry for those window cleaners that have no choice but to self isolate for health reasons.   If you or family member have any symptoms, take 14 days off then get straight back to it.  Most customers won't even notice you've taken two weeks off.

I have no sympathy for anyone using it to skive off for the next 3 to 6 months without any personal health reasons. Give it another few weeks and you will start to loose customers.  I doubt we will ever go into a full lock down as it looks like the rules in place are working as expected. Too early to really tell, but my predictions have been close far.

What were your predictions and can you give examples of their accuracy?

Really, you've spent the last week "wasting your time" on here every day.😄

I took a few days off last week but went back on Friday. I had a conversation {about 12 foot away} with a customer today. She said her gardeners are due tomorrow and she hopes they come "why wouldn't they"? she said to me. I think this is how a lot {not all} domestic customers feel about their window cleaner too.
As long as I follow the advice I can't catch it or pass it on while working.
New gloves every job.
Keep at least 10 foot away from everyone.
No cash payment.
Not posting invoice through the letterbox.
.Tesco's is another risk level all together.

I thought this was a forum for window cleaners . I reckon there’s loads on here who are not going out and cleaning windows . Maybe they could join another forum . “ kept mans forum “ .
We'll pay the grant back in taxes, Biggles.
We're not being kept; it's just a loan. We're just spending ours before we get it.
Life's too short.
Stay safe and don't die before your grant comes through.

my partner who is a renal nurse has just phoned me from work … 5 people that she has worked with are in ICU fighting for their lives .
when she comes home in the morning we need to isolate from each other.
so heres the question ?

Sorry to hear that but I still say the same thing as before,if you walk round a supermarket you are at more of a risk than you would be out in the open air cleaning windows.
If truth be known we will have all ended up having some sort of strain of this Virus,if you stay indoors but visit the shops you are wasting your time you are still at as much of a risk.

Even if I didn’t have to go to work I still would do,I can’t think of anything worse than staying at home every day.
My Mrs knows I get cabin fever after so many hours indoors.

Thanks for the mod here, please guys keep it friendly there's no need to be nasty at times like this and the some of the sarcasm and comments are just not on. Members will be banned from here on in if the rules aren't adhered to as it's simply unfair and at times like this more than ever not needed.
