Just to change the mood window cleaning stories or tips
« on: March 28, 2020, 01:37:00 pm »
A post not about cv at last
Something different to put out there any top top tips and hacks to make life easier when we get back to work
We have on the forum hundreds of windies  from all over the land sitting on Their hands
Any window related stories or top tips
I once saw at a level crossing when the barrier was down a guy and a small dog came up
He tied the dog to the barrier and started to do a roll up
Just as he finished  rolling the barrier went up along with the dog
I laughed so much I wet my self

I did help I cut the lead with my scraper
He never said thanks and walked off dog in arm
Tip
Mine turn off the water when you wash down the sills
Stops the dirt from coming out of the gap
What's yours
Can be anything from trad to pole
Equipment to techniques
To silly stories

Good idea.

Did the "wrong house" helping out a friend who's wife was in hospital. Rang door bell, no reply. Friend did fronts and I hopped the gate only to find the owner (male) in Panama hat and Jesus boots, tackle out pruning his roses.

After an embarrassing exchange I go back round the front and mate says "he's a naturist".
It's a game of three halves!

Love the dog story!
My tip- don't worry about that last stubborn little spot on the window, nobody will notice it except you.
