Don't believe everything you see on the internet mate. There's been lots of stupid pics of cars put up at beauty spots saying it was yesterday, they are infact old photos. The Police have even said and commented on such Social Media pictures they are fake.

The government is not saying only people doing “essential” work can go to work. Anyone who cannot work from home can still go to work.

Separately, there is a list of critical workers who can still take their children to school or childcare. Provision has been prioritised for these workers.

Every worker – whether critical or not – should work from home if they can but may otherwise travel to work.

I do think that since that retired supreme court judge gave the opinion that the Police (Derbyshire Drones etc.) were going beyond their remit we've had a bit of reining in of them. First BBC headlines this morning were leading with it.

According to reports in the Guardian the National Police Chiefs Council (NPCC) and College of Policing are rushing through guidance reminding officers of the limits of their powers under the law - including that they are not entitled to tell people what is an essential purchase from a shop or stop them driving to a secluded location to exercise.

They deny that any new guidance is being issued, but Whitehall sources confirmed that forces are being reminded to show restraint and existing guidance is being recirculated.
