I'm happy to take the next couple of weeks off, but I'll see how it goes.

Im going to finish my pressure washing job tomorrow. I have a days work on a solar panel setup next week. I might see what the weather forecast is for next week. If its sunny i can see a few days in the garden being appealing.

''are you guys going to try carry on working or not?''

Will I be

A)  helping
 or
B) hindering

the spread of the virus if I carry on working?

The government have asked me to help stop the spread of the virus by staying at home.

They are offering to pay me 80%  of my income if I stay home.

I'm still undecided.

Will be taking next week off (was planning to do this anyway) then I’ll be back part time the week after. I’ve only got around 30% of my business left (for now) so will just have to do what I can.

Let’s hope things return to normal asap and we can all return to work without worrying if it’s the right thing to do.

Not for the foreseeable future.
The money has never been that important to me. For a few months anyway.
If money is that unnecessary, in the light of what we are going to face, then so is work.
Shalom.

It probably wouldn't be to many here either, if they were the kind of bloke that could live off a woman's earnings.

But failing that some will have to go to work because keeping a roof over their family's heads and feeding them is important.

So why don't you do one with your virtue signalling?

Yes, I’ve digged out an old t shirt from the eighties, a white number,  with ‘Frankie Says’ emblazoned over the front of it. I’ve spent the last hour covering Frankie up and replacing it with Nicola😁

More important than what? Than me not going to work?
And do you and your Helen have separate money then? And and you know our financial situation then?

Keeping a roof over their families heads is more important than you virtue signalling that you don't care about money while your wife is a nurse (god bless her) and earning.

That's the thing about money, it's a bit like air.  You take it for granted until there's a shortage.
