Many of us are lucky enough to have been trading for years, with large established rounds and enough disposable to see us through a few months.
Others live week to week or month to month, I bet they are sh!ting their pants right now.
For ones starting out I accept it will be harder but they can claim benefits for housing and a host of other things suggesting they turn to crime is irresponsible ,and if they did an£ get caught that’s the end of there self employment once the community finds out , I started out over 20 years ago doing one day a week trad and supported a young family and mortgage by doing a variety of other work until I got established, now I employ 5 and have three vans that’s not boasting but showing what hard work and determination can achieve , I could easily take 6 months off paying all staff full wages fir that time period , that hasn’t happened by accident it’s through planning saving and hard work , it’s not rocket science anyone can do it if they put there mind ti it , if they cannot then they arnt suited to running there own buisness, one of the guys who works for me gave up his round as he couldn’t make a living from it , since working with us he sees how he could have succeeded but he would rather work for me as no hassle. To many people start up there own buisness and fail due to having no idear what they are doing ,or are lazy and not disciplined that’s not insulting anyone but is a fact , I see probably a couple of dozen new starters every year go out and buy all the flash kit and 6 months later cannot make the payments and go bust .
