Ask customers if you can work!
« on: March 24, 2020, 06:31:37 pm »
Hey, this is a novel concept

I know we all just turn up or text ahead etc normally but given the situation a lot of us have been caught in two minds not knowing if we can clean or not or will we upset people etc.

If you are caught between what to do then what ive decided is to text my customers and tell them i am planning to come tomorrow but if they dont want them doing then no problem at all and can leave it till this thing resolves.

Ive not booked in a full day, ive hand picked these...for me now its not about making loads of money, just ticking over paying the bills and if i can earn 4-500 quid this week i will be happy.

So i picked out a nice steady days work tomorrow and just fired out the texts, see what happens. So far 2 asking to leave but wishing me all the best and hope i`ll be back soon and 4 have said no problem.

Nah.
I trust my own judgement more than that of my customers. It's not their integrity on the line either.

I completely understand the stance you are taking

But the way i see this is since we are allowed to work then its up to me and the customer if i do so

Im ok with it, so if they are i`ll crack on for now
