UK Gov Text Msg
« on: March 24, 2020, 11:14:41 am »
Just got this text and link from the Government.

https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus

Again emphasising only 'essential work' as a reason to leave the house.
Clarity is needed for what essential work entails but in my opinion, it'll start with blue light staff and include electricity and other infrastructure workers, we will definitely not be included.
I assume a detailed list will be announced soon on this...

I think they'll know what you do for a living.

Of course, but a lot on here are still trying to convince themselves that they're working because it is 'essential'.

Have you even read what the government sent out?

Here, I'll quote it for you:

Quote
travelling to and from work, but only where this absolutely cannot be done from home.

Can you understand that or does it need further explanation?

At the time the link was sent yesterday morning the message specifically said only essential work was to be undertaken.

Fair one; then I understand your confusion.  I didn't get the text till last night.

I like Boris and I think he's doing his best under extremely trying circumstances but as far as the wording used around working and the subsequent chopping and changing, he made a balls up.
