I’m Now Thinking I should Have Gone To Work
« on: March 24, 2020, 09:38:33 am »
I made my mind up last night to knock it on the head. I woke up at the usual time this morning and read the forums while having a coffee and cigarette. I decided that I was still staying off, so I went back to bed. I’ve just woke up and looked out the window and every fecker in the road has gone to work! I’m sat in bed typing this and in the distance is a main road. There’s traffic galore! WTF is going on? Have I dropped a b*****k?

No.
One of the reasons we might not be able to go to work is because every other fecker is going to work. If that makes sense?
Stop smoking. Save the NHS.

Showed workers this morning on tube , Full of people going to work.        There will be a Clamp down after seeing this.    They are in the public spotlight now.    I can see Construction sites having to close down because of this on TV .        He has to clarify NHS staff, Shopworkers , delivery drivers  Post . Council workers etc.          I know we need to go no where near people  when working, and we are a far distance from people.     We just are not Essential.        We just need help to get some sort of income to stop working.

Im  going to look around on sites now what I can claim.

We stopped work today - based on the statement by the PM last night - even tho im at a higher risk than a lot of people im not in a panic, more of a concerned type mode - my general attitude would be to carry on, however sensible pre cautions need to be observed - which as can clearly be seen is not happening - people crowding into pubs, or the seaside towns etc... you have the deniers like Dazmond who think they can do as they please, the Chris Turners of this world who post absolute sh!t and haven't got two brain cells to rub together - and a general core of selfish people who just won't listen or observe issued guidelines.

It was CLEARLY stated that we should stay at home UNLESS -  food shopping - require medical treatment or work is ESSENTIAL - I can't see by any stretch of the imagination window cleaning as essential - can you ?

Its about time people realised that they just can't do what they want when they want - think of the venerable ones - if you really need some human contact use FaceTime

No Bungle, you’ve done the right thing.
It’s only the selfish people that have gone cleaning or whatever today.
Like Darren said so clearly above.
Daz is a total bell end.  ( unless he was joking) !!!

I’ve got to go out and pick my lawnmower up from the repair shop this morning. And then try and get some shopping done if anything is left? I will have to use my van to go out. I bet people will think that bloody window cleaner is out working.

You haven't dropped a b*****k mate but many have...totally irresponsible, very simple and clear message last night was stay home, save the NHS and save lives. Really makes you look at people a lot differently something like this, if only they understood the knock on effect to someones loved one; this could be a child, parent or grandparent!

Is picking up the lawnmower essential?

They phoned saying they’ll be closed for the foreseeable. I’ve paid over the phone and they will leave my mower outside for me to collect. Plus my lawn needs cutting  ;D

Just driven through an industrial estate. Factory workers sat in the sun together on their fAg break. They just don’t get it I’m afraid.
