I'm working until full lockdown is enforced.
I expect the chancellor will announce measures for self employed today or tomorrow then full lockdown will come on Thursday or Friday.
This will get worse before it gets better.
I have a friend who is a director at an NHS trust who has told me to stockpile food for several weeks at least and expect to lose someone from my family over the coming weeks/months.
He has even offered me a job, once I'm forced to closed the business, as a security guard at the health centre as he said desperate times are coming and the centre will need the extra security.
His exact words to me last night were, " i have inside info that I shouldn't be sharing with you but things are going to be worse then you think and certainly worse then the government are currently having you believe.
He wouldn't clarify any further over txt but he said I can call him today and will be more specific, as long I don't share the info with anyone.
Will be an interesting call....

THIS,

without doubt is the worst post ive read in a long time - absolute BS  - any director of the NHS is NOT going to divulge info to you, and your certainly not trust worthy racing to the forum to "spread the word"

Darran

No Darren this is not BS. I done some work for this person and became friends with him, mainly because we were both fitness buffs at the time so starting going to the gym together.
He offered me the work yesterday and even at that point I wasnt taking everything seriously until he said these things. I tried to get him to spill last night but he said he can't do it over txt so call him today.
Yes he's my friend and yes I am breaching his trust but at the end of the day if this thing is more serious then is made out to be, wouldn't everyone want to know? I know I would.

A director of an NHS trust can't just offer you a job, can he?
What if you were a wrong 'un?
And have you considered why this information is not being divulged?

He's the director... he can do whatever he wants at his trust. I think it's safe to assume he knows me well enough to know I'm not a wrong un, I went to his kids christening last year. Admittedly I didn't go to the afterparty as me and the missis felt socially awkward being at the gathering with a bunch of very wealthy folk, so made an excuse and left.
Honestly I genuinely wanted to help you lot by sharing this info but guess I made a mistake. I will talk to him later and use what he tells me to look after myself and my family. You lot can carry on with all that lovely, useful mis/information on twitter and forums etc.
Stay safe..

We clean Sajid Javids mums house, she never gave me any inside information  the selfish cow.

This director obviously doesn’t know you well enough at all, you went straight on a public forum and posted all about it.

This is suspiciously similar to alot of NWH’s posts, I smell BS.
Why don't you have a quick google before making stupid comments?

Nope, the not going to work is probably one of the only things I’ve ever agreed with you on.
We’ve shut down, employee on enforced holiday.

Err, yes he can.
I am extremely sensitive when it comes to being called a liar. I hate BS in general which is why I keep away from things like twitter and facebook etc and have a general dislike towards all polictians.
I can understand that this may sound like BS. How could a lowly window cleaner be friendly enough with an NHS trust director to receive "privileged" information?
We became friends by pure accident. As I said I done some work for him and at the time I was buff, really fit with big arms. He said he was looking to get into shape and wanted some tips and it just took off from there. We ended up working out together a few times a week and he even had a full gym set up at his house and I started going over there and met his wife and kids. I felt like his personal trainer but I think i was his "escape" from the stresses of his life.
He use to say to me, I kid you not, "it's nice to spend time with someone normal, away from those cretins at work".
We lived in different worlds but I bought him normality and made him feel like "one of the lads".
The workouts stopped eventually, I became too busy with work, kids, new dog that needed long walks and I just couldn't be bothered anymore with keeping fit  We would still exchange messages now and again and as he put it yesterday, "he wants to make sure me and my family are safe". Hence why he was willing to share details with me.

Anyway I don't know why iv just sat here in the van for the last 10mins trying to justify myself to you lot, you can think what like. I'm giving you information from a trusted source and you can take it or leave, up to you.

As I said I don't BS. So I guess you must have issues with your sense of smell. Isn't that a symptom of coronavirus?...

There's more than one director and he can't just do what he wants at a trust.

Stockpiling.

Selfish.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

You say you are not doing it but I bet you'd do it seeing as you're so friendly with this director "mate" of yours.
