there has been a lot of threads on here about  coronavirus (and rightly so)
I understand it may effect our business

Do you not think it would be nice to try and post some positive subjects after all we are British
where's the Bulldog spirit?

Go on then...………..
You are right though and I have been thinking the same. What about some funny stories about the virus or peoples' attitude toward the virus?

There is some sport on TV for me to keep me entertained. The Australian NRL is still going ahead, for now, behind closed doors.
I've a few games recorded to watch.
I've been watching more non-sport programmes with my Missus and it's been a nice change.

Church and my lad's rugby are off, so weekends and Wednesday evenings will be more relaxed.

I've seen more compassion from folk since it really kicked off and it has been heartening.

human kindness at last..... went into savers to get hairspray for my wife and I noticed there were 2 packs of toilet rolls left, the lady in front of me picked them both up and put them in her basket, she then turned around to me and said "do you need one" I replied yes please and she then handed one to me, I thanked her for being unselfish and made a comment that's it a shame there are not more people like that in England,,, infact the whole wide world

I was in Tescos last night just about to unload my full trolley onto the conveyor belt and behind me was a little old lady with what just looked like a pint of milk and i loaf. I said "is that all you got" ? And she said yes. I said i'd go to another till if i was you love, i'm gonna be here for ages. And off she went. Some sly people would of just left her waiting.

Cleaned a house for the first time yesterday. She runs a P.R. agency and has shut the office and they all working from home.
She  pointed out that she's not normally bothered about the windows because she spends so much time in the office but now has converted a bedroom into an office and wants the windows cleaned.
She also mentioned that people like her will notice their windows more if they are at home and they will have more disposable income to pay for it because they aren't going to the pub or restaurants or booking holidays.
Was worried about another customer who was at home when I cleaned because he works in a Hotel and  he said the Hotel is closed, thought that would be the last clean but now he's on 80% of his wage I expect to carry on cleaning for him.
Happy days!

On a positive note if we do get locked down for a period.

Let's say 3 months.

There's probably lots of things to do that get neglected in day to day life when we ares so busy.

Number one would be exercise, then there's diet.

Learn a language, do all them d.i.y tasks, learn how to build websites and seo.

Could  Probably think of loads of constructive things to be doing.

On a positive note:

Not done any less work than usual over the last few weeks (more in fact)
Not lost any work or had cancellations due to CV ( had emails from management companies to ask that all services resume as normal where ever possible) I:E crack on.
Don't know anyone who has CV
I'm fit and healthy and so are my family
Worker is keen to keep working and is also fit & healthy.

When any negatives start to arrive I'll do everything in my power to limit the damage, adapt and carry on as best as I possibly can.

Thought i would share this on this particular thread.  Its from a local village hub facebook page that I follow as I have a lot of work in this area.
Sure, they dont mention window cleaners but it highlights the mentality of a number of people because this is not the first one I have came across.

Sure its talking of food places, but the thought is with keeping local businesses a float in times of trouble.  So not to be overly anxious about residential customers
