I've lost a couple customers already this week.

It's only going to get worse so rather than backing off any advertising I would say increase it!

Picked up 3 new one tonight to ease the suffering.

Advertise and graft until you get struck down or told otherwise is my advice. Get that brass in whilst you can and don't let off the gas.

The government's plan is to lock everything down only when this thing peaks which will more than likely be 2 or 3 months during the summer so with a bit of luck we will pull through it with a positive attitude.

ive put new ad out there last few months, one customer so far, i was thinking of cancel for a bit

I’ve got 30k leaflets sat there waiting to go out in April/May/June this year, that’s on the back burner now.

I put out 1000 as a tester in February and got a great response (small sample size obv) so was really excited about it too.

I've picked up 2 today , I'm expecting to lose a few customers and have people skipping cleans but i have too much window cleaning work and do gutter clearing,pressure washing,fascias so hopefully I will pull through it ok just being a 1 man band.

There’s no point it’s the last thing on most people’s minds,I had 1 this morning ask me for a card but that’s unusual tbh.
If you put out a 150.000 leaflets I don’t reckon at the moment you’d get much response.

Not that ive started advertising pressure washing because I havent. Yet, at least here anyway, garden cetres are selling out as ones prepare to be house bound. So perhaps not quite sell to this aspect but to appeal to an early spring clean lol and book in now the bigger paying jobs

In the last two days Ive enquired from 5 different customers how they feel about me working and visiting them with this CovID19 going on.

They've all said they they're perfectly happy for me to be there especially as its outsides.

One of them, a £200 inside job said she'd be happy for me to do the insides if there's a lockdown.

People are stocking up on garden plants n gardening bits n bobs, so when they are confined they can spend time in their gardens.
So sell your services in line with this, which will be more lucrative than cleaning windows.  So get the big money in now whilst you can

Nah I’m just gonna plod on until I’m told I can’t. Then I’m going to chill out and watch Netflix for 3 months, everyone’s in the same boat and advertising now will be a complete waste of time imo . When we are allowed back into the world , we’ll just crack on again

I’ve just ordered 2 tonnes of builders sand and 2 tonnes of MOT for delivery tomorrow. If we’re gonna have to stay at home I’d rather do something productive, get started on landscaping the garden.

Yes, a base for a new shed and a patio area. Was looking at paying a contractor £3k for doing the work but I’ll do it myself instead.
