I just drilled a second hole near the bottom corner of my tank by the side loading door. Fitted a 1" flanged outlet and short length of 1" hose with a tap on end of it. Can gravity feed my backpack in about 30 seconds.

Sorry just realised you meant from barrels 😣.
I'm sure I've read before of people using 'whale' pumps ?

I use to just pour the drums in. Not sure a pump would be any quicker.

Then why push a trolley around? Bung a tank on your motor.

with it being a car you cant have many barrels in because of the weight, could you not say get a 100lt tank in the back and just fill that up? it would take up roughly the same area as a load of barrels.

Can you not simply run a pump from your boot and simply drop the suction hose into each barrel?

Try using the type of siphon pump that can buy from pet stores etc put end of pipe into 25ltr barrel the other end into the back pack just squeeze the rubber primer bulb and your good to go. No battery required and cheep to buy. ;D
