Hand Sanitiser
« on: March 05, 2020, 06:43:12 pm »
Can’t get any for love nor money. Had to fork out £32 for some off eBay. If I were a proper business man I’d have bought a shed load when this virus started to hit the headlines.

It will be paracetamol soon so stock up chaps.   India are no longer shipping and holding on to stock for themselves for the virus

Why do you need hand sanitiser? Bottle of washing up liquid or squeegee off in the van and you have all you need.
It's a game of three halves!

All you need is Vodka in a spray bottle, add/mix in some hand softener to resist the urge to drink it. lol

I have lots of hand sanitiser. We keep a bottle in each van for h&s so I always buy in bulk.

My nearest store re stocks tomorrow but I can't be bothered to join in the hysteria and panic buying of it especially on a Sunday, sod that, make your own. Rubbing alcohol and alo vera gel. its really not difficult.

I went to Costco on Saturday for I might add some normal stuff.  On driving into the car park every single space was full, never seen it like that even during Xmas.  Transpires on asking the lady going in that it’s been like it all week with people panic buying.  Sad gits ???

Because its quicker and more convenient, no need to be rinsing or drying your hands.

Customer told me there was a queue in llyods chemist awaiting new delivery of sanitizer and when they  bought it out to re stock the shelves, the first person in the queue bought the lot, approx 100 bottles. It all got quite heated. Can't believe a pharmacy would let that happen.

I can't believe that's true, and if it is then that is terrible and completely unethical. This sort of thing isn't panic buying and stockpiling it's cashing in and selling on for a vastly inflated profit. The most vulnerable in our society with weakened immune systems are the ones most in need of such things and will lose out.
