Pine sap removal.
« on: March 01, 2020, 10:09:13 am »
Been asked by a management company that we clean for to remove pine sap from some of their window sills.
What is best way to do this? Pvc remover or tfr or something else?

Ime sure there are many things that will remove it from hot soapy water to solvent ,for speed I would try pvc solvent like double glazing companies use as this will remove any other stuff at the same time .

For anything like this, tell them you will do a sample clean first before you give a price.

I’ve been stung before.

I’d say a solvent will be needed for that. Any pvc solvent will do. Bronze wool will
Scratch the surface so don’t t try that. It’s definitely a chemical job.

Price high and be happy to not get it.

So when are you taking up walking dogs?
Be careful, it could be another “night mate”.
Why don't you have a quick google before making stupid comments?
