Hi Guys I've had a quick look through the forum and from own personal experience have drawn up a list of spares.
I am interested to see if i have missed anything off as i am trying to reduce short days and unexpected failures with no spares on the van.

Only use I’ve seen that for is to make bump stops on poles? What else would you use it for? To fix leaks on a hose?

Rarely needed but handy to renew any electrical connections as/when required.

Box of tools, screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, allan keys, spanners/sockets, volt meter

oh and a hammer, sometimes you just have to hit stuff like stuck in goosenecks

i also carry a length of normal hose pipe to replace any splits

spare backpack, just incase your pumps decide to pack in

Keep a box of cheap black biro pens in drop down compartment!  Always feckin loosing them lol.
Spare Brush/Pole incase main one breaks or something goes wrong.
Trad Gear (you never know)
Towels for reeling in hose to keep clean

Keep a stock inventory list on your phone of the main 5 things you need to replace often so you can make sure you always have stock so your not held up if something breaks!

Great list by the way and good comments from all.

I need to get a Volt Meter for the van!

Thanks for all the replies, some of the stuff we have already on the vans but an inventory or stock list is a good idea.

Got caught out just last month.

Set off without having my usual morning excretion. Must have got up late and was rushing.

Driving for about 30 mins on the dual carriageway when I suddenly felt sick and my guts churn.

5 mins later I knew I had to go! Like immediately.

Pulled into a parking place and jumped in the back with my carrier bag and pot roll.

Dropped my guts in it, really awkward to do but managed it. Slung the whole catastrophe Into the undergrowth. I know, sorry shouldn't litter but there was no bins and I wasn't driving round with a bag of mushy 💩.

I must admit I did drive off laughing like a kid at my exploits. 

Cleaned a couple of houses and out into the country side I was hit by another wave of guts churning.

This time I was out of bags and turd roll!

Found a bit of a lay by near a field and dashed along the tree line looking for somewhere to get dug in but there was no where.

I ended up dropping my guts just near the hedgerow and wiping my rear passage with a micro fibre!

Only once can I remember being caught short before that when I had a bucket handy.

blimey........thats never happened to me in 27 years of window cleaning...i would of drove home myself..... ...only a handful of times in all these years ive needed to go in the afternoon (while im working) ive stopped off at a local pub!i always go in the morning before i leave for work and dont need to go until im back home after work.
