I spent years complying with all these different organisations to keep various contractors happy. As soon as you comply with one another one pops up. Then the big boys get their own companies in and say you have to pass all their criteria to work for them. In the end I decided It doesn’t matter how many you have from ISO 9001 down to CHAS, they are all after the same thing! Your MONEY!!!. Now I do the basics I write my own RAMS that comply with HSE, I am fully insured and if ya don’t like it get another company.

Now I do the basics I write my own RAMS that comply with HSE, I am fully insured and if ya don’t like it get another company.Not sure what line of work you're in, but part of the appeal of an SSIP is that it basically stops you needing to fill out PQQ's for contractors any time you wish to tender.I passed CHAS and i sent it away to our contractors and it must easily have saved me 2 or 3 weeks a year printing off the same poop with slight amendments to it.one certificate and they accept you're good to go. For the price of £300 its not the worst
