I have looked at this wand and the total is 900 pounds  has anyone bought from him in America if so when it arrives do you get a letter saying you have to pay the import tax on it or is that price the final price

Firstly , from reading the American boards , i believe Tony Dang had a serious stroke a couple of months ago so it out of action and condition unknown .

I got one direct from him a couple of years back  , Its a really good wand  , the two inch pipe and special head really do seem to maximize your airflow /suction on the carpet  .    How ever i find the 2" pipe and especially 2" hose direct to 2" pipe awkward unless you are doing some large empty place .
So i seldom use it now and perfer the simple glided westpack 12 .    But its personal perference  ,  i believe he was developing a 1.5" version with a 12" head , i might like that one more for general use .
TMF shop had some deal with to OEM produce their wand , that might be an option or there may still be some for sale in various places .   But i wouldnt bother , especially with a portable .
