Cleaning charity shops for free.
They earn more money then any shop in the high street.

Cleaning charity shops for free.
They earn more money then any shop in the high street.
And get reduced rates and rents.

And their staff are mostly all volunteers.

Charity shops LOL!

Google the executive pay of organisations like Barnardos, Oxfam etc and then see if you still feel so generous.

I have on occasion cleaned the windows of empty buildings in my town, purely because I care about where I live and I don't want it to look like a scruffy place.

Though technically I'm sure I could be done for it as tresspassing.

Cleaning charity shops for free.
They earn more money then any shop in the high street.

They are both charities local to my area - not big national charities...

They take seconds to clean. I've had quite a few walk-ups from these. I also do window cleaning for some of the volunteers in the shops (not for free!) Well worth the ROI and good to give something back to the community IMO!

I never clean my own, well maybe do the back and conservatory 3 times a year. The local window cleaner does the fron every month, as we live in a main road,  He charges next to nowt, in fact absolutely nowt, he won’t let me pay ,saying it’s only a few it doesn’t matter. I have tried and tried to get him to take pay, but he refuses, I make sure he gets looked after at Xmas though.
Cheers Rich

Had they been complaining about the drumming, Daz?

I do my neighbours windows for free, regularly. I do them badly so they don't bother asking me anymore.

I don’t get on with my neighbours. One of them was ringing my doorbell the other night!

Luckily I was still up playing my drums.
