Show us your prices

This is my new price list from my leaflet, I live on the boarder of London/Essex

Out of Curiosity how much do you guys charge and what area are you from to compare the difference ?

Do any of you use a different pricing structure to  mine ?

Pricing seems ok
The only question I have is why will there be a "small" extra charge are you just talking a few couple of quid ?

You're better off just charging extra like 2 cleans
Although you said you don't do one-off cleans you will still get them I mean you will deter a few people with that little statement but you'll still be  Mugged off so I think it's better to just charge appropriately.

What about barn conversions?
houses are rarely the same round here. I could never price like this. Might work in new post war estates though.

Prices vary......but.......

3 bed semi (roughly 8 windows and 2 doors)
- £8

4 bed detached (roughly 12 windows and 2 doors)
- £10/£12

Conservatories - add £2-£5 depending on size.

Isn't it going to be harder to service a three bedroom terrace , as opposed to a three bedroom semi ? I'm thinking rear access ?

All well and good, but access and location plays a big part to price too.

I’d never put prices on a leaflet.

It leaves no scope to add on a ‘range rover tax’ when you turn up and there’s 2 brand new motors on the drive.

I like the idea, I may do something similar in future. I think that people like it when the prices are upfront and they can see what they’ll pay without even having to call, text or email you.

Plus, it’s efficient. I’m already struggling with time to get work done, so removing the need to personally quote is welcome.

What you will lose is accuracy, but I would guess that some will be slightly underpriced, some will be overpriced and some just right. I think it would all even out in total.

It would be a bit of a shame to lose the opportunity to add on an idiot surcharge though.

We struggle to get £15 for a semi in West Yorkshire £10 to £12 is about the tops when you have ladder boys doing them for £6 - £8.
Terraced fronts only can be great earners if you get a run of them so I wouldn't dismiss them but it depends on the area.
I personally wouldn't have a fixed price list every job is different.

As most comment, you will shoot yourself in the foot with fixed prices.  Around my area, there are plenty of different size 3 and 4 bed semi's and with different size windows.  This is why I also dont understand how people charge per window. For instance i have houses which could say they have two windows at the front. Yet the window expands the width of the  front for instance and could contain the equivalent of 3 or 4 standard size windows  or it could be a bay window, which isnt one window lol. Hence why give a min fee is....... and i will actually quote when there. I dont quote houses until I am in the area to clean and so not wasting additional time.

Yet the window expands the width of the whole front
That would be difficult to quote  ;D.

I have similar prices and I also have them on the leaflets. Saves lots of time and if it turns out that they have a few extra windows then you decide to either charge more or accept it.
As Lee Pryor has previously said, who can be bothered quoting every three bed semi? Pointless.

Thanks for the responses

I charge 75% on all first cleans so saying a small one off additional charge is an under statement so will change that to just one off or state 75%.
Did a small leaflet drop last year and I found this way of quoting is very efficient and can be done quick of an evening with just your phone and the customers details, Im working a full round all ready and would hate to waste any cleaning time stoping for a visual quote. It is a bit harder to be accurate with your pricing but it all evens out in the end 25% over priced , 25% under priced and 50% spot on, saying that I  never used to overprice work when quoting face to face with customers as didn’t want to take the p*ss but with this method the prices on the leaflet do it for you.All most all propertys in my area full within this pricing structure

Ah 75 percent okay.just you stated small so got a bit worried. That said some customers when they see small they might think a few quid!.

How did your last eaflet drop go was It a similar leaflet ?
