Buying commercial data
« on: January 09, 2020, 11:51:24 am »
Does anyone know a supplier of commercial data there used to be someone many years ago.
Literally supplying all businesses who are marketing themselves like on yell.com.
It was just much more organised than pulling it off online yourself.

Would like to do my own commercial canvassing
Hasn't been too bad lately just off yell.com.
But buying official data would be a lot easier on a
Spreadsheet to keep progress records

There’s a few out there. We’ve just bought a load. Data quality is iffy, incomplete addresses etc. 2 grand for 600 addresses ish.
I’ll have a look at who we used when I get back.

Cheers 2 grand tho ? Sounds expensive that's about weeks work phone call wise .

I am pretty sure I paid about £60 for 3000 but this was going back about 7 years? It's just a marketing data so companies that market themselves just all complied nicely on a spreadsheet

£600 for 2000 addresses. The data’s not perfect though..........
It does go down in price hugely when you buy more.

Have you had your money's and times worth out of that 600?

Just designing the leaflet to go out. It’s SME broker services
Not sure how good the data is yet though.
