Charges
« on: January 07, 2020, 08:20:43 pm »
There was a post on about GoCardless charges but the post is now grey and I can’t post on it can someone tell me why.

Iv only recently started using Gocardless and think it’s great even with the price increase.

I mean a customer just paid me £10 through PayPal and it cost me 59p and that dosnt even bother me much because it’s saving me collecting it.

I don’t think you should look at them all as a whole look at them as individual prices that you are willing to pay to get a customers debt in.

When the prices increase on GoCardless it will cost me 30p am I missing something what is bad about that?

And no point saying oh it’s ok if you don’t have a lot of customers if your happy to pay it for one customers debt being collected then why not hundreds or thousands of customers being collected it’s still 30p per customer if they are all £10 I am more than happy to pay that to save me time collecting or manually marking up and checking PayPal or bank accounts etc the time and effort it saves is priceless in my opinion.

Plus with it being linked up to cleaner planner all the work is done for me collected and marked off as paid I am more than happy to pay 30p for that.

Wish I had it years ago Iv spent so much of my life collecting and chasing and marking off payments now i can spend that time doing more houses or canvising or drinking

When a thread goes grey it means Nathan has been causing arguments again.

Nathan locked the thread but I think if you go back through the posts there is an older one explaining why some of the guys who use it aren't happy with the price increases.

Price doubling is price doubling no matter what way you cut it.

Totally agree Reflection, still well worth it, not a massive increase whether it's doubled or whatever. A bit like a window cleaner who hasn't put their prices up for years , the customer gets used to it and then windiw cleaner realises how underpriced they are, sticks a massive increase on and then customer thinks its way to much.  They  should of just put small increases year on year from when they first started.

But they didn't.
