I do 1 days work every 6 weeks on the coast only the rest in very rural areas inland,listen to people who use hot water not people who don’t have or won’t spend the money for a proper hot system.

forget hot water systems,they are a luxury,i wouldnt be without mine but your employing so this is what i would recommend if i were you.....

a 2 man grippatank 850L cold water delivery system with split charge relay
2 x fixed claber reels(cheap but a good budget reel for employees)with 100m of microbore on each
2 x 25ft SLX poles(robust and light enough for employees)

a static system RO/IBC tank at home constantly making pure water (or if your tap tds is low) a simple DI system.......

Make up your mind Nigel, if hot cleans better then off course you would want your car cleaned with it, plus there's not an employer on here who wouldn't have it if it upped production and made them more money.

Thanks for all this advice everyone I am taking notes of everything and looking into it all to see what I decide.

When setting the van up would you insulate the whole van first then plyline if you had the option to do this first.
I mean even the roof and floor then protecta coat it all.
I used to have trouble the odd time with my old system in the winter with bits freezing.

Also my reels never used to be fixed reels so when we parked the van one man would head up the street and the other man would head the opposite direction down the street.
Is this awkward with two fixed reels or has anyone positioned them so that one comes out the side door and one the back door.

I’m thinking if I fix them I would have the reels go through cut outs in the floor so anyone that has this how do you manage going two different directions is it awkward

What do you mean make my mind up you fool,I’m saying I’m not cleaning with it so I couldn’t care could I,if I’m using it myself I’m going to use hot as it’s more of a pleasure to use,all an employer wants to do is make money out of his workers he doesn’t care if it’ll make there day easier even if he says he does.

outside ports would be better then(still buy the claber reels as they are cheap and light for taking out of the van).......the reason why i recommend having a grippatank system fitted is if your having a 850-1000L  fitted you want it to be as safe as possible,also the baffles in the grippa tanks are far superior to a wydale tank/ frame for example........

for freezing issues cant you put an oiled filled radiator in the back overnight?grippa also do a add on heater to prevent freezing too so you can add that as a bolt on to your system too if you wanted......

Two minutes ago you where saying it cleans better less spotting and so on so make up your mind does it or doesn't it, plus there's no such thing as an easier day for an employee, 8 hours using cold will be no different to 8 hours using hot, the only difference an employer could expect from hot is more production.

Off course its the cost, none of us employer or other want to be buying stuff that's not needed or doesn't pay its way, its how you maximise your profit.
