Hello GuysFurther to my post the other dayRegarding engine management lightFiat doblo multijet 2014 plateI had a mobile mechanic £45 to do diagnostics Don’t know if money wastedCode: P2563 turbo charger boost control position sensor ACircuit range / performance He reset but engine management light, came back on.Mechanic pointed to unit by turboHe reckons £200But he can’t do job difficult to get to bolt 🤔I’m starting to suspect a new turbo unit as exhaust smellsWhite smoke, But not loadsI thought when turbo is knackeredYou get clouds and clouds of smoke ?I went to local garage he said he can’t look at it until next week I’m gonna go to small one man band Monday who claims to be a fiat specialist (Earliest he can see me)Thinking if it is the new TurboHe might be cheaper Looked up code and could be an electrical fault Wishful thinking Anyone had a new turbo fitted? To a Fiat doblo multijet How much?🙆🏻♂️Thanks Hope your having a better start to the new year than me !
Just seen my dad , his management light kept coming on , Fiat ran a diagnostic and said it was the turbo sensor , a week later the light came back on , they then said it was the turbo itself , £1800 for a new unit or Fiat do a recon unit for £900 fitted. I would have the tests done first mate !
