Just put it  down the section from the bottom end rather than the top.

I have one in my phantom 18

Same as above put it up from the bottom of the pole. I have the 25 phantom and fits.

That’s awkward as I use tubless and u could not use the univalve when the pole is closed thanks andy

I have a better idea.  Throw your phantom in the bin and get a decent pole “cough” Gardiners “cough”

We use SLX 18 with univalve and tubeless.  Works a treat!

Nope! Brought my hi-mod version last November and still all good.

Hows everyone getting on with there phathom pole used my 18 for the first time today so far im impressed not shore if its as good as a slx yet to early to say

I found with the phantom poles the clamps would start slipping quicker than other pole I've ever used. Replaced the red silicon with new but it didn't last long before the clamps started spinning again. Would never buy another phantom pole,  clamps wear out to quick, not impressed!

I have the hi-mod and apart from me breaking a couple of sections by stupidly shutting a window and letting the wind blow it over mine is still going strong and I’ve literally had no problems with the clamps. I’d buy another one and I’d also like to try the extreme to compare but I feel the pole has definitely lasted longer with much less black hands from worn carbon than my gardiner slx poles I have.

I call that going strong because the wind blowing it over was my fault and probably would break an slx section. The shutting windows is a known thing with the lightweight poles but can’t have a lightweight pole and expect it to be as strong as a slx or similar. All other sections are still the original ones and same with the clamps

Ive snapped my extreme 22 few times shutting stiff windows and also a old slx 22 these phathom poles seem very stiff but not shore i would buy another yet to early to say looking forward to hammering it see how it lasts
